Motion Sensor Trash Can (2017)

Product Design

This trash can is ultrasonic sensor activated, servo motor lifted, and Arduino powered. The ultrasonic sensor acts as a trigger to rotate the servo, which transfers the motion through a simple 4-bar linkage inside the trash can lid to the hinge. Lid is then lifted for certain amount of time before servo motor resume to the home position.
