I had a spare fitness activity tracker so I decided to use it on my dog Pudding. I tested the tracker on Pudding for a few days. It provided pretty accurate sleeping data, but the pedometer data was a little off since the algorithm was not really designed for four-legged user. Nevertheless, it gives me an idea of the amount of movement/activity per day.

I wanted to integrate the tracker with Pudding's collar so I designed a sleeve that can be attached to the collar easily.

2 iterations of prototypes were 3D printed, using flexible filament. The 1st iteration turned out to be to a little too bulky and rigid due to the material property. So I reduced the overall thickness of the design in the 2nd iteration. As a result, it fits the tracker perfectly.
